For more than a decade — in the gym, on stage or just around town — SHAB has practically lived in jumpsuits.
But throughout this time, she had frequent discussions with her girlfriends and dancers about The Problem with wearing jumpsuits: the need for women to nearly fully disrobe in order to use the restroom.
So during late 2024, SHAB began exploring the possibility of launching a jumpsuit brand engineered towards simply allowing a women to drop the back of her jumpsuit when nature called.
And as her test case, SHAB decided to quietly produce two different jumpsuit designs for herself and her dancers for use as wardrobe in the official music video for DIRTY, emblazoned with the song title, in order to gauge reaction to the product.
To her delight, the consensus was unanimous: the designs were comfortable, eye-catching and unsurpassed in their functionality.
This positive feedback spurred SHAB to move forward with a new jumpsuit line that she has christened DropTrou -- with its designs made and produced in downtown Los Angeles.
In addition to owning the firm, SHAB serves as both Chief Customer Officer & Chief Stylist and further as the primary spokesperson for the DropTrou line: which was launched with six initial designs and in time for the 2025 holiday gift-giving season.
